Phu Quoc island

  Phu Quoc Island, also known as Jade Island is Vietnam's largest island. It's also the largest island of the 22 islands with population living in, located in the Gulf of Thailand. Phu Quoc island with other islands form attached Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang. The entire island district has a total area of 589.23 km ² (by Stats land in 2005), approximately the size of Singapore island.


   Due to the characteristics of the location of Phu Quoc Island is located in the low latitudes to reach deep into the Gulf of Thailand, surrounded by the sea surrounded more or cool weather tropical monsoon. Climate is divided into two distinct seasons, the dry season starts from May 11 to May 4 lunar lunar year, and the rainy season starts from May 5 to May 10 lunar lunar calendar.
